We are the market leader, working with 80% of Local Authorities and LSCB’s in England, and the only provider offering a complete content creation, updating, hosting and archiving procedures service within the social care sector.

We work with children's services, children’s local safeguarding boards, adult services, independent fostering agencies and independent residential providers. To support our continuing growth plan, we are looking for Formatter to join our team.

Roles and Responsibilities                                                                                

  • Undertake the formatting of web-based procedures manuals and websites in accordance with the prescribed styling and guidelines set out by the company
  • Collaborate and liaise with the Formatting Team Leader, on a daily basis communicating any queries relating to the formatting and editing of manuals that may affect timescales and delivery
  • Connect with Lead Consultants in order to implement their requests for the editing and formatting of new and existing manuals and websites, resolving functionality issues and validation errors in the websites
  • Liaise directly with customers by email and telephone in order to resolve any issues directly associated with the main job activities.
  • Represent the company in a professional and competent manner at all times demonstrating an understanding and commitment to good practice

Personal and Professional Competencies

  • Hold qualifications GCSE Math, English and Science grade C and above or equivalent
  • A flexible approach, prioritising workload and responding to urgent works
  • Experience of working in an office environment is desirable
  • Experience working with Adobe Dreamweaver, photoshop and has basic HTML knowledge is desirable
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Outlook and have excellent keyboard skills
  • Have an excellent attention to detail and a logical approach to tasks
  • A clear communication style is essential
  • Contributes positively to team working
